Week #8 - Ana
This week we reunited with the writers and the artist to decide how the story was going to be developed and how the art would convey that. Considering the feedback we got from the workshop we divided level mechanics, bosses, enemies and ambient aspects into the different stages of grief so we can get an idea of the feel of each world.
We also stablished concrete goals for the next prototype. This one will be focused on Presentation and Controls and we decided to develop some of the level mechanics, the camera system, the player movement, some enemies, among others. I was assigned the level mechanics. So this week I worked on having moving platforms and falling platforms that we already had in the last semester and gravity pads which is a new mechanic that will make our game much more interesting.
Next week we'll gather everyone's work and test the prototype with our focus group. We will also have a change to test it with our colleagues. This feedback will serve as a basis to our next user feedback report to be delivered next week.
