Week #9 - Ana
This week we finished our control and presentation prototype and tested it with our focus group and other people to see what they thought of the different control schemes as well the UI and level mechanics already developed. We created a questionnaire to gather the corresponding feedback and we were able to extract important aspects we will consider when developing the next prototype.
After delivering and testing our prototype we began another sprint to continue the development of our game. I was assigned the following level mechanics: gravity affected objects and activable switches. I already created an object (a box) that changes gravity according to the player which allows many interesting things to happen when joined with other level mechanics. Here's a sneak peek:
For the activable switches we're thinking of having buttons that can be pressed by the box and open a specific door. This last thing I haven't developed yet but I hope it doesn't take too long to get there.
