Week #9 - Lídia
This week we finished the control and presentation prototype and shared it with the people on the focus group. The prototype allowed for different types of keyboard input so we asked them to fill up a questionnaire to check which control scheme was preferred. There was a clear favorite, but we still want to further develop with a gamepad controller because it would be more intuitive considering the control scheme of our game.
Each member of the dev team continued the tasks defined in the last sprint. I worked on the gravity charges UI to make them able to change dynamically. Each room could have a different max number of charges available, so we needed to allow that to happen.
Also, one of the comments on the questionnaire referred that the UI for the gravity charges was not very explicit. Someone suggested adding a symbol next to the bar, so I made a little badge with a G next to the bar. Further developing and testing will tell if this is more intuitive.
